Ken Kendell
For 36 years Ken Kendell has taught voice. Students have been active on Broadway, Off Broadway, Television, Movies, Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe and the recording industry.

Mr. Kendell studied voice with Sandy Oliver, Mdm. Irma DuBova, niece of Tolstoy and the world renowned Ruth Miller and Mario Chamlee. He majored in music at the University of Wyoming and continued his study of acting at the notorious Pasadena Playhouse.

Mr. Kendell is the author of Mystery of Voice, Mastery of Life, composer of (musicals) Candid Hams and The Road of Life. He toured for four years as cruise director/entertainer with the Orient Overseas Line. He was named as one of the actors in Academy Award Nominated film Prelude. For the past two years and currently, Mr. Kendell is vocal coach and conducting shows for Altru Entertainment at the Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas.

Mr, Kendell was the recipient of the Phi Mu Alpha honorary music award while attending the University of Wyoming. He has been affiliated with the University of Science and Philosophy in Waynesboro, VA. And was past president of the Los Angeles National Association Teachers of Singing. He is listed in the new 2007 Edition of Who's Who in America.

Mr. Kendell says that he cannot give you the ear which arrests the rhythm nor the voice that echoes it, he simply assists the aspiring singer in get out of the way and let it happen, rather than make it happen.
